Our journey began in 1997 when Mr. V. Arumugam founded AKR Readymade Garments, with a vision to create high-quality, stylish clothing at affordable prices. On December 4, 2023, we sadly lost our beloved founder, Mr. Arumugam, but his legacy lives on. Today, VELAN Garments continues under the leadership of his niece, Miss Kalpana Yuvaraj, who has carried forward the same values and dedication to excellence that her uncle instilled in the company.
As part of our growth and expansion, we have rebranded to VELAN Garments and launched our exclusive product line, AKVEL. Our new brand name symbolizes strength, tradition, and a fresh direction for the future. We are excited to share this new chapter with you, bringing our collection of high-quality readymade garments directly to you through our online platform.
